25. Property: Grant V 1, F 49, No 823, 13 Apr 1850, Ferryland, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. 2886 Scan of original grant and a re-registration to an unnamed person in February 2019 was given to me by Steve Barnable during my 2019 visit to Newfoundland.
According to Dad Morry in an interview he gave to Nimshi Crewe in the 1967 which Nimshi converted into an article in the Evening Telegram on February 23 of that year, this property later belonged to Richard's son of the same name, the school teacher. dad Morry referred to the area as "the Lookout" though the grant refers to by the predominant local feature, the Quarry River. It is near where the Foodland is located today.
