William Saunders of Clemet Cove, the Justices of the Peace and the Constables of the District of Ferryland

William Cole is complaining that William Saunders is indebted to him. Saunders is ordered to deliver enough fish and oil to discharge his debt.

2. Property: Piggeon's Room or Plantation, 10 Sep 1763, Ferryland, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. 6761,6763 September 10, 1763 - Sanders, William - Lost his patent to his plantation called " Pegger's Room" in a fire in the premises of : Carter, Robert. (I believe that this should actually read Piggeon's Room. (Kevin Reddigan).

This was William Sanders Sr., not Jr., as the latter would have only been a teenager at the time.

3. Court: Ferryland Surrogate Court Records - Late 1700's, 7 Oct 1774, Ferryland, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. 6761 From Kevin Reddigan's website but extracted for NGB website by Ray Curran:
October 7, 1774 - Saunders, William - Appointed arbitrator for Murry in Murry vs Barnes.

July 21, 1795 - Saunders, William - Testified in Murry vs Jacobs. (Kevin Reddigan's notes: This reference could pertain to the elder William Saunders, however, it is possible that it could refer to his 17 year old grandson, also named William??)
