Cpl. Joseph WHEELER Nova Scotia Regiment ⁶⁸⁰⁶

   Another name for Joseph was Joseph Abner WHEELER.¹⁶⁰¹

  Noted events in his life were:

1. Military: Corporal in the Nova Scotia Regiment, 1813, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. ^3902,6806 He is noted to be a Corporal in the NS Regiment on the baptismal record of daughter Mary Anne. Also on his burial record it states he was of the NS Regiment but gives no rank. On neither does it give a middle name as Abner. This is only found in Doug Wheeler's family tree. My feeling is that the Joseph Abner is our ancestor, not this man.

2. Minister/Priest: David Rowland, Official Chaplain, 2 Aug 1813, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. ⁶⁸⁰⁸
