I cannot swear that this is the same James Quinlisk but based upon the evidence of PJ Quinlisk's assertion that he returned from the US and died in Ireland it seems likely to be the case

Interesting: Thought to be a Lieutenant in US Army, 11 Sep 1991, London, Greater London, England. 1394 In a letter to Jamie on Sept. 11, 1991, his niece, "Auntie Elizabeth" to the family, said that he had been a Lieutenant in the US Army. He actually never arose above the rank of Corporal and that was only for a brief period before returning to the rank of Private.
