His trunk was left behind in England. It did not reach Victoria till February 24th. The day Claude arrived 7 am boat he went to the office instead of coming home. Mother and I walked in & had lunch with him. We all walked home together about 7 pm. Hard walking in the snow so car from the "Willows".
