Sep 5, 7, 11 [Nance] Arrived in England safely Sunday Sept 5^th 1915. Saw Will at Shorncliffe Sept 7^th. Will allowed afternoon off to talk to her. She had to go back to London by 4:30 train. Staying at Kingsley Hotel. Will & Reg Wolsley got week-end off & went up to London Sept 11^th to Nance. Had dinner at the Hotel with her. Went to Theatre at night.

The nurses of No. 5 Canadian Gen. Hospital left Cairo on the 27^th Jan. at 9:30 & left Alexandria at 6p.m. Nance was seasick as were most of the nurses. They arrived 14 miles outside of Salonika Jan. 29^th came into harbor next morning, but did not land for two days. Ambulances met them & took them to the Hospital, a considerable distance away. The Hospital is all under canvas. The weather was wet and the mud dreadful - it's thick like glue.
