I'm really not sure where the baptism took place. I don't know whether there was a church in Aquaforte that long ago. According to the book "This is our Place This is our Home" by Joan Edward (Breakwater Books), the bible was donated to the St. Philip's on May 24, 1859 and it is thought by locals that the church was first dedicated about two years before that. I'm fairly confident that St. Luke's existed in Ferryland from about the early 1830s onward and it may be that all Aquaforte families travelled there for baptisms, marriages and funerals. Bishop John Inglis, who was responsible for Newfoundland but resided in Nova Scotia, came to Newfoundland in 1832 and consecrate a number of churches in the outports, possibly including St. Luke's However, I do not know the exact date that St. Luke's was built.

Of note in regard to early Christenings that are supposed to have happened at Ferryland is the name of the minister is P. Perring. He was assigned to work out of St. John's; these Christenings could have been performed in St. John's, likely at St. Thomas's.
