1. Medical Condition: Worked in Strasbourg for a few years. Then went to Oyen, Alberta and. worked there for a while. He ran a butcher shop in Calgary for a while as well. He then went to Lone Butte, BC where he met Marion Stewart, a widow with two children. He married Marion and adopted her children. He worked for Coop Fisheries and traveled the BC coast from 1950-1958. He traveled for an importer for about a year in 1959 and then moved to Malcolm Island, and worked in the Coop store there until his death.
