Note that, in the actual parish register, it is stated that the marriage took place in the RC Chapel at "Grannorish". But no such Townland is known to have existed in the area of Cloughjordan or in any other part of Tipperary for that matter. Moreover, the only RC Chapel known to have been in operation at that time was the one at Garrane (also spelled Grawn). This is the first time that I have ever seen mention of another chapel in operation in this parish at that time and I wonder if it is a mistake in the register. I think that it actually says "Grawnoris" which may have been another name for Grawn.

General:
May 29, 2007: I only suspected the existence of this daughter from the information provided in the Ciss Quinlisk letter, which indicated there were three living female children at the time, only two of whom were named. Then Fergus Kennedy came through with the name and details of her life.

IGI has her name given as Margaret Tuinlish White - obviously a misspelling of Quinlisk

Note that on the death register her age at death in 1936 was given as 78 when in fact she was 88 or 89. Her son, Patrick, was the informant and probably had no idea that she was this old.
