bullet  Noted events in his life were:

1. Alt. Birth, 1815. 721

2. Alt. Birth, 1815, Guernsey, Channel Islands. 778

3. Illness: Born deaf and dumb, 23 Dec 1815, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. 782 150419:

When Eliza Coke [Hutchings] Le Messurier died young, her parents, George and Mary [Williams] Hutchings made over the "Marsh Meadow" property at the west end of Duckworth St. to Peter Weston Carter to be managed in trust for her children by Pierre Broom Le Messurier. This seems to indicate a distrust on their part that he would adequately look after their children himself. It was noted in the papers that one granchild, John Thomas Le Messurier, was born deaf and dumb, making him particularly vulnerable.

4. Minister/Priest: David Rowland, 19 Apr 1817, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. 418

5. Property: Transfer in trust to Peter Weston Carter - Marsh Meadow west end of Duckworth St, 21 Dec 1820, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. 782 This is a two-part transaction designed to transfer a substantial piec e of property to the care of Peter Weston Carter in Trust for the grandchildren of George and Mary Hutchings by their recently deceased daughter, Eliza Coke [Hutchings] Le Messurier. It would appear that there was some measure of distrust in her widower, Pierre Broom Le Messurier, to properly look after their children. This event was shared from Capt. George HUTCHINGS who also shared it with Eliza Shirley Hutchings LE MESSURIER (Party), George Hare LE MESSURIER (Party), Henry Corbin LE MESSURIER (Party), Jane Sydney Shanks LE MESSURIER (Party), Mary Broom LE MESSURIER (Party), Mary Monier WILLIAMS (Party), Peter Paint LE MESSURIER (Party), Peter Weston CARTER Esq., JP (Trustee), and William Warner LE MESSURIER (Party).
