It is with sorrow that we share the passing of Ron at the age of 64, after a brief battle with
cancer. Ron was the youngest son of Rene Ranger and Elsie Ranger (n้e Morry) both
predeceased. He will be missed greatly by his daughters Jessica (Chris), Katlan (Kevin),
Veronica (Kris) and Destiny whom he loved as his own. His granddaughter Ondr้a
predeceased him in 2009.

He is also survived by his siblings Marc (Rose), Debbie, Chrissie (Denis), and Lisette. He also
leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ron had a strong affinity for Indigenous culture and felt taken in by the family of his long-time
partner Kim Nootchtai, her children Ashley, James, and granddaughters Brooke and Natasha.
Ron loved driving anything with four (or more) wheels, shooting pool, and had a great love of all
animals, especially his babies Alice and Ted and his beloved horses.

Arrangements have been made through Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home. Visitation will begin
at 2:00pm on Friday January 6th at Atikameksheng Anishnawbek Community Center, 37
Reserve Rd, Naughton. There will be a Pipe Ceremony at 7:00pm. The service will be the
following morning at 11:00am, Saturday January 7th with a feast to follow. Casual dress.

In lieu of flowers, donation to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated
