Donald Joseph Youden - (March 9, 1941 - August 24, 2024) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Joseph Youden on Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at 83 years of age. Don is predeceased by his son Brian; parents Helena (Carew) and Jack Youden; sister Mary; brother John; son-in-law Dean Casey and nephew Danny MacDonald.
Left to mourn his wife of 61 years, Sandra (Holwell) Youden; daughters Sharon Mugford, Shirley Hart (Ross), Cindy Casey and Gail Osmond.
Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren; "an even crowd" as he called them (Four girls and four boys), Anthony Hart (April), April Hart (Mike), Andrew Mugford (Krista), Amanda Casey (Chris), William Mugford (Erin), Robert Osmond, Ashley Hart (Tyler) and Jennifer Casey (Rickey).
"Old Pop" will be forever missed by his precious great grandchildren; Spencer Hart, Henry Mugford, Elliott and Grace Mugford, Zoey and Trey Yetman.
Left to mourn Don's passing are his sisters, Eleanor Roberts (Jim), Brenda Dillon (Mike), and Betty MacDonald.
Special sister-in-law, Daphne Holwell and niece, Sherry Mullett (Victor), and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thanks to the staff of 2 Northwest Pleasant View Towers for providing exceptional care to "Donnie Bear" for the last three years.
Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday, September 4 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Caul's Chapel, LeMarchant Road.
