General:
271207: I have added his name as a child of this family because he was a sponsor at the baptism of the child of Thomas O'Brien and Mary O'Meara, William O'Brien. It seems most likely that he was therefore an uncle. I have no other proof of this at this time. Note that the name of the sponsor was spelled Pat Meara but this was a common misspelling of O'Meara then, as now.

071108: I noted that Patrick O'Meara was also found with his large family in Garrane, Lateragh in the Census of 1901 and 1911. This helps to confirm my belief that he is the brother of Mary. In 1901 they all squeezed into a three room house. By 1911 it was expanded to 4!
