200208: Fergus Kennedy discovered a record of baptism on the Toomyvara parish microfilm that revealed the parentage of Jamie's grandmother, Mary O'Meara and for the first time confirmed the name of her great grandmother as Ellen Quirke.

130308: I purchased for 5 Euro a copy of the marriage record of William Meara [sic] and Ellen Quirk [sic] on 08 February 1853 at Templederry. Despite the minor differences in spelling of the surnames and the location which is somewhat unusual, this is almost certainly the same couple.
